QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

The following are answers to questions received from a potential offeror. The answers provide clarification only and DO NOT constitute an amendment to the solicitation.

QUESTIONS:

1. The request is for PIPE FIBERGLASS INSULATION, HINGED WITH SELF-SEALING LAP, 3-NPS X 2 INCH THICK, ASTM C547,SSL II FIPC03010AJ. The part number provided is for 3” x 1” but the description states. 3” x 2”. Can you confirm the size needed?

ANSWER: Need 3” x 2.

2. Does the type of jacketing needed matter? The part number you listed has “ASJ” jacketing on it, but I am told by the OEM they typically offer it with “Ultra” jacketing. They are very similar, but the Ultra is a bit shinier.

ANSWER: Yes we want the Ultra jacketing. Please confirm with your quote if this is ULTRA shielding/jacketing?
