QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

19 December 2017

The following are answers to questions received from potential offerors. The answers provide clarification only and DO NOT constitute an amendment to the solicitation.

1. When will the wage guidelines for unlicensed crew personnel be released?

ANSWER: The wage determinations posted with the RFP are what the Department of Labor has provided.

2. Page 3 of the solicitation, under “Terms/Conditions/Attachments added, deleted, or modified”, are vessel’s current certificates acceptable for vessels which will be reflagged prior to delivery?

ANSWER: The vessel's current certificates will be acceptable if they are current and are in compliance with their applicable flag state and regulatory body. Also, owners shall provide a "COI" certificate for the vessel once they reflag, as all US flag vessels have to provide.
