About this file
This document contains questions and answers regarding a furniture reorganization solicitation issued by the Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command. The solicitation seeks a contractor to complete a two-day furniture reorganization within four weeks of contract award at a classified "open storage secret" facility. No pictures or schematics of the facility space can be provided due to classification. The contractor will not be responsible for making new electrical connections but may need to provide Ethernet cables if lengths are insufficient.

Questions and Answers
Q: Are there any previous solicitations and/or contracts in the past that are similar and can be referred to?
A: None to provide at this time.
Q: Are there pictures or a schematic layout to refer to?
A: No. Due to the facility space being classified as "open storage secret," we are unable to provide pictures but layout documents are available upon request.
Q: Will the contractor be responsible for making new electrical connections if reconfigured layout does not work for current electrical connection
A: No they will not be responsible for making new electrical connections. If needed we would procure a power strips and connect to existing outlets. However, they would need to provide red and or blue Ethernet cables of sufficient length if needed.
Q: Can you provide some clarification on the schedule listed in the solicitation?
A: Once the contract is awarded, we require the service to be completed within 4 weeks from whatever that date will be. This is a date(s) that will be worked out with the requiring activity after award. For example, if the contract is awarded 7/1, the vendor would have from that date up until 7/29 (4 weeks from the award date) to schedule the two days to come in and complete the service. This allows some flexibility for both parties’ schedule.
