About this file

This synopsis document announces the Navy's intent to enter a firm-fixed-price sole source contract with Kearfott INS for two K600A379-32 INS SEANAV units integrated with Rockwell GPS receivers. The INS units must meet military standards for size, weight, and the required lens functionality. Kearfott INS is the only manufacturer that can meet the program's accuracy and interface requirements due to patented technology. The Navy will not seek competitive proposals and intends to negotiate only with Kearfott INS. While other sources can submit capability statements in response, award is at the Navy's sole discretion. Delivery is required within 12 months of order receipt. The synopsis was posted on SAM.gov and the point of contact is Emily Keehan for any questions regarding solicitation number N0017822R2301.
