EC2 instances:

1. . Does EC2 instances needs to be on demand or 1 year no upfront reserved or 1 year partial upfront reserved or 1 year full reserved ?

We will need pricing for on-demand and the full scope of reserved instances.

2. . Utilization of the EC2 instances ( ex: 10 % ----- 100%)

Unknown at this time.

EBS Volumes:

3. . Does EBS volumes required snapshots if yes % of snapshots?

Please provide snapshot pricing. Percentage of snapshots will be variable.

S3 storage:

4. . What type of S3 storage , please see below and select

We must be flexible on the number of requests, type of requests, and bandwidth. Please provide pricing for all various options. We expect to be charged as used in accordance with your proposed prices.

5. Will the solicitation be paid for upfront or in installments for each year and option years? (I understand we can bill monthly but can we bill upfront for each year or at least for any reservations for EC2 instances e.g. Partial Upfront Reservations or All Upfront Reservations?)

No. Invoicing can only be monthly for services used during that month at the prices you stipulated in your proposal.

6. If there are additional AWS resources/services used or launched during the term, that are not covered in this agreement can the offeror/contractor bill for those resources/services appropriately at the end of each month according to their usage?

The government should not use any services that are not covered by the agreement. Government will have to modify the agreement to use services outside of the original scope.

7. Will the offeror/contractor have access to the Account’s Detailed Billing Records via an IAM User/Role which only has access to billing records via API/console? (I understand there will be no other access, not even read-only access or Describe:* API calls to resources/services used correct?)

Yes, if that is necessary to do billing.
