13. SECURITY GUIDANCE. The security classification guidance needed for this classified effort is identified below. If any difficulty is encountered in applying this guidance or if any other contributing factor indicates a need for changes in this guidance, the contractor is authorized and encouraged to provide recommended changes; to challenge the guidance or the classification assigned to any information or material furnished or generated under this contract; and to submit any questions for interpretation of this guidance to the official identified below. Pending final decision, the information involved shall be handled and protected at the highest level of classification assigned or recommended. (Fill in as appropriate for the classified effort. 3000 MC Pentagon Washington, DC 20350 guidance:
Contractors supporting Task 4 of this contract require a T3/ANACI/NACLC background investigation fully adjudicated by the appropriate cognizant security authority. Contractors must have a FINAL SECRET clearance and be read-in to SECRET access prior to providing support for this task. Contractor will visit and access secure government data centers and server rooms to perform system maintenance and administration. Contractor personnel may be required to access, view, possess, process and/or use classified information, information systems and workspaces to successfully complete certain functions for program management support. Contractor shall perform in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operation Manual (NISPOM), DOD 5220.22MN, and ensure that all classified material is handled in accordance with the NISPOM and the appropriate Security/Program Guides/Directives.
1) Reference 8a: Additional government site will be The Naval Support Facility (NSF), 701 South Courthouse Road, Building 12, Arlington, VA 22204.
2) Reference 11a: Contractor's will require access to ARI Server room located in the Pentagon.
3) Reference 11e: Contractor's will provide system maintenance (troubleshooting, backups, and approved updates)
