ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS

Question: Will you require a full proposal to show all items?

Answer: Yes, all items that are components to each CLIN must be listed.

Question: Is the Gold Partner standard an absolute requirement?

The "Gold Partner" standard is not an absolute requirement for the awarded company, but all equipment must come from a "Cisco Certified Reseller." This will be verified by a serial number check before the equipment is installed to ensure it is not gray market.

Question: What type of AV connections do you want in the G4/G6 conference room?

Answer: Must have the following connections: Network, USB, VGA, HDMI and Audio

Question: Is current in-table connection in G-4/G-6 conference rooms acceptable?

Answer: Yes

Question: Does all equipment have to be TAA compliant?

Answer: No, but it must be Buy American Act (BAA) compliant.

Question: Are we using existing Clear One phones and mics?

Question: Are we replacing all speakers and amplifiers?

Item 0001 (AA-AF)

Question: For Cisco Video Teleconferencing will owner except Cisco Federal Certification?

Answer: Gold Standard certification is for both VTC and network. Network is not required in this project.

Question: Requirement is for 2 Cisco SX80 (one for NIPR and the other for SIPR)?

Question: No maintenance required since you are on the Global Cisco purchase?

Answer: No maintenance required on Cisco branded equipment, standard commercial warranty required on all other equipment.

Question: One active voice command camera is required?

Question: No other PTZ Cameras?

Answer: None for the Fish Bowl

Item 0002 (AA-AJ)

Question: Cisco Codec codecs (quantity) of two will require one system line item (Codec, Precision HD60, and

Touch), and one Codec (CTS-SX80-K9)?

Answer: One codec “kit” and one stand alone codec is the requirement.

Question: Surround Sound is MC term for ceiling mounted speakers and amplifier?

Question: Who has responsibility to replace holes and or painting after removal of Smart Board and Unifi

Answer: Government will make all repairs.

Executive Planning Cell (Fish Bowl):

Question: During the site visit it was discussed that based on the requirement of (2) codecs the room is to be a dual classification (SIPR/NIPR) videoconference enabled room. Please confirm that both codecs require a Cisco multi-point software license.

Answer: Yes, both codecs require a Cisco multi-point software license

Question: It was discussed that Cisco branded equipment main models and accessories require compulsory maintenance. Will these Cisco items be covered under the JELA contract for the initial year and beyond?

Question: The specified resolution is required to be “up to a 4K resolution”. The Cisco SX-series codecs are only capable to 1080p60. Please confirm that a Cisco codec with highest resolution of 1080p60 is acceptable.

Answer: Yes, 1080p60 is acceptable.

Question: It was discussed that no computer/laptop display signal connection will be required at the conference table. Please confirm.

Answer: Correct, computer/laptop display signal connection will be not be required at the conference table.

Question: It was discussed that there will be no classification signage requirement as part of this solicitation. Please confirm.

Question: During the site visit it was discussed that the existing table microphones would be re-used. Please confirm the table microphones are GFE (Government-furnished equipment).

Question: During the site visit it was discussed that the GFE Polycom Sound-Station 2 speaker phone would be re-used. Please confirm.

Question: During the site visit, it was discussed that bidders should quote new amplifier and ceiling-mounted speakers for this space. Please confirm.

Commanding General Conference Room:

Question: Item 0002AB Wall-Mounted LCD Television. During the site visit it was discussed that the (2) 75” wall-mounted displays would be mounted on the side-walls of the conference room. The discussion further indicated that the displays shall be located directly above existing AC circuits located approximately 18” AFF (above finished floor) and that power cables are to be concealed in wall-mounted/external raceway from behind each display to just above the AC circuit. Please confirm.

Answer: Yes, government will be attempting to have power outlets re-run from the ceiling directly above.

Question: Item 0002AC Cisco Codec. During the site visit it was discussed that based on the requirement of (2) codecs the room is to be a dual classification (SIPR/NIPR) videoconference enabled room. Please confirm that both codecs require a Cisco multi-point software license.

Question: Item 0002AD Surround-Sound Audio System. During the site visit it was discussed that the audio solution microphones be enabled to integrate with video cameras in order that when attendees enable their microphone, a assigned video camera will be actuated to follow. Please confirm.

Answer: Yes, when attendees enable their microphone, a assigned video camera will be actuated to follow.

Question: It was discussed that the Government understands that if multiple microphones are enabled, the assigned camera will follow the last microphone PTT (push-to-talk) switch selected will control the camera. Please confirm.

Question: During the site visit, it was observed that there are a total of (15) gooseneck type conferencing microphones currently in use (1-lectern, 14-table). Does the Government require any additional conference or other style microphones? If so, please describe the requirement.

Answer: No additional microphones are required.

Question: During the site visit it was discussed that the specified “TV input display” is a GFE TV tuner/cable/sat box. Please confirm.
