About this file
This document is a justification and approval for other than full and open competition related to a federal contract opportunity for NETAPP hardware and support. The United States Special Operations Command requires replacing end-of-life NetApp FAS 2750 network attached storage equipment with new NetApp AFF-C250 models for approximately $500,000. NetApp equipment is mandated for use by USSOCOM and MARSOC due to its compatibility with existing architecture and security requirements. Extensive training has been conducted on NetApp appliances, and only NetApp can provide the necessary on-site support, training, and 24/7 sustainment required. A notice of limited competition will be publicized on June 29, 2023 via SAM.gov. The contracting officer certified the justification and approval on June 28, 2023.
