REQUIREMENTS

We ask respondents to please address these requirements as part of the response to the RFI. For each one, please indicate whether the featured system fully provides, partially provides, or does not provide the described functionality. Describe the way in which the functionality is implemented by the system. If the functionality is only partially implemented by the featured system, delineate and describe the partial functions that are available. If functionality is not currently available but is planned for a future release, please indicate the estimated release date.

Minimum Requirements

1. Utilization and implementation of unobtrusive sensors

2. Ability to incorporate and utilize new sensors as Library needs evolve

3. Sensors that cover the same locations as current cameras

4. Ability to prevent double counting (as people linger)

5. Ability to distinguish between service animals and humans

6. Ability to distinguish between children and adults

7. Ability to send real-time alerts when a location is in danger of being at or over max capacity

8. Ability to distinguish between visitors and patterned floors and walls. (See example pattern on Architect of the Capitol (AOC) website at https://www.aoc.gov/explore-capitol-campus/buildings-grounds/library-of-congress/thomas-jefferson-building.)

9. Multiple users can access the system simultaneously.

10. System incorporates data analytics and a variety of preprogrammed reports as well as customizable reports (see sample at end of document)

a) Near real-time dashboard that is refreshed from collected data.

b) Custom reporting that enables data queries for specific locations or specific time periods (e.g., public hours vs evening event hours, or weekdays vs weekends)

c) Dashboard and reports should incorporate, at a minimum, the same types of data collected and reported by the Library’s current system, and allow retention and downloading of the collected data in an organized/streamlined/structured format

(e.g., spreadsheet) that is exportable to various formats (e.g., Excel, Word, PDF, https://www.aoc.gov/explore-capitol-campus/buildings-grounds/library-of-congress/thomas-jefferson-building https://www.aoc.gov/explore-capitol-campus/buildings-grounds/library-of-congress/thomas-jefferson-building

PPT, etc.).

Optional Features

1. “Wi-Fi Analytics” that anonymously quantify return visitors or track a visitor’s journey through the Library.

2. Temperature screening stations that also count the number of people entering.
