______ Other _____________________________________________________

Explain: On 09/12/2021 management was made aware that multiple housing communities would be placed on evacuation warning status. Once an evacuation warning is issued, residents should be prepared to leave within two hours if it becomes a mandatory evacuation order. Not having lodging established creates a significant safety and morale concern on park staff dealing with the stressors of the current situation which involves air quality, preparing homes, and other exhaustive preparations during evacuation.

Due to the nature of the event being an emergency, park staff worked diligently to work with lodging registered in www.sam.gov and would accept purchase orders.

3. Market Research. Please explain the results or why one was not performed. State whether any other offers were received or anyone expressed interest:

The contracting officer researched hotels available through www.sam.gov and found hotels within the area to support the evacuated personnel.
