About this file
This is a Certificate of Insurance Requirements document from the City of West Sacramento, California, outlining mandatory insurance coverage standards for all vendors and contractors entering into standard city contracts. The document serves as a checklist and reference guide that contractors must forward to their insurance agents or brokers to ensure compliance with the city's insurance requirements before contract execution. All insurance policies except Workers' Compensation and Professional Liability must name the City of West Sacramento officers, officials, employees, agents, and volunteers as additional insureds, and certificates must provide thirty days' written notice prior to cancellation or material changes.
The required minimum insurance coverage includes Commercial General Liability at $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, Commercial Automobile Liability at $1,000,000 per accident, Workers' Compensation per statutory requirements, and Professional Liability (Errors & Omissions) at $1,000,000 per claim when applicable. The document specifies mandatory endorsements including Additional Insured Endorsement equivalent to CG 2010 0714, Primary and Non-Contributory Endorsement, Separation of Insureds clause, and Waiver of Subrogation Endorsement for Workers' Compensation policies. The certificate holder address is listed as 1110 West Capitol Avenue, West Sacramento, CA 95691, and the document includes checkboxes for internal review and approval processes.
