Statement of Work Upgrade/Replacement Imaging Server 87th Communications Squadron
1.0 PURPOSE. Purchase of a new server capable of base-line imaging 100 PCs, Laptops, and end-user-devices at once. This allows the 87th Communications Squadron, and their affiliates, to image all end-user-devices to the latest Standard Desktop Configuration (SDC). This also affords the communications squadron the ability to reduce network vulnerabilities, reduce the workload of individual technicians, and reduce system downtime by 400%. Server must be capable of imaging/configuring a device within 30 minutes with local SDC.
2.0 DESIGN REQUIREMENTS: The design must meet the requirements below:
2.1 1 or 2U Rack mounted server: 12 Core/24 Thread minimum Processing Power, 16GB UDIMM, 3200MT/s RAM capacity, Capable of running Windows Server 2022, 1TB SSD for OS and system configuration, 3TB SSD for file storage.
2.1.1. Full enclosure and power supplies included with full Keyboard/video/mouse (KVM) connection HDMI or DP connection type.
2.1.2. x3: Cisco Systems : C9300 DNA Advantage, 48-Port/ Cisco Systems : Catalyst 9300 48-port PoE+, Network Advantage (Requirement of Cisco 9300).
2.1.4. Rack mounted Smart-UPS for sudden loss of power.
2.1.5. System must be compatible with 10GE network modules to satisfy multiple running systems (Must handle the imagining process of 100 machines without bottle-necking)
2.2. System will be full replacement of current, out-of-date equipment. All connection and installation will be conducted by members of the 87th Communications Squadron.
2.2.1 Network Infrastructure (SCOI) department will be requested to configure Catalyst 9300 48-port PoE+, Network Advantage Switch
2.2.2 Cabling and physical installation will be conducted by Client System Technicians (CST)
2.2.3 All system maintenance and software installation will be conducted by CST with guidance provided by the Network Operation Technicians (SCOO)
3.0 DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS:
3.1 The above deliverables will be delivered and installed within building 2320 and will be a direct replacement of current infrastructure. Delivery of items must be in undamaged order and fully operational according to manufactures specifications.
3.2 The delivery location is 2320 Radin Road, Joint Base MDL, New Jersey 08641
4.0 INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS:
4.1 Installation of WindowsR18/2022 will be conducted by a CST.
4.2 Configuration of server will be conducted by CST with switch configuration being conducted by SCOI
5.0 STANDARD WARRANTY: The contractor shall provide any Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standard commercial warranty applicable to the products being purchased at no additional cost to the Government.
5.1 Prior to project acceptance, the supplier shall provide the customer with all manufacturer warranties as needed for any component incorporated into this project such as equipment manuals, literature, CDs and DVDs and other documentation on all equipment.
5.2 Prior to project acceptance, the supplier shall provide written procedures, points of contact within company, and required information for all warranty services prior to project acceptance. This information shall include written confirmation of the warranty period, phone numbers and contact information/procedures for technical support, troubleshooting assistance, and replacement of faulty equipment.
6.0 GENERAL INFORMATION: ITEMS MUST BE BRAND NEW. REFURBISHED ITEMS ARE
NOT AUTHORIZED.
