Project Name: Toolbox for Managing Hazardous Organic Waste Air Emissions
GSA Order ID#: ID04180139

This notice is to advise all potential Small Business Contractors that GSA has received a request for a performance-based services task order for contractor support to Toolbox for Managing Hazardous Organic Waste Air Emissions for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This RFI will also be posted to Federal Business Opportunities and GSA E-Buy on the Professional Services Schedule.

This task order will specifically be used to conduct the planning, background investigation, and preliminary decision making in relation to the software portion of the toolkit. The Organic Waste Toolbox will only focus on air emissions from biodegradable waste under anaerobic conditions. The air emissions to be considered are those with near-field human health hazard impacts including CH4, CO2, CO, H2S and NH3.

This information need to be in a form of a technical report and potentially publishable manuscript. Once design decisions have been made, the Contractor shall combine the information gathered into software and web-based toolkits.
