SPECIFICATION SHEET
SUPPLY AND DELIVER THREE MOTORS MEETING THE SPECIFICATIONS
BELOW TO THE NOGALES INTERNATIONAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT
FACILITY.
1. BACKROUND
The US International Boundary and Water Commission (USIBWC) operates and maintains the Nogales International Wastewater Treatment Plant (NIWTP) in Rio Rico, Arizona. The NIWTP currently treats approximately 17 million gallons per day of raw sewage entering from Nogales, Mexico and Nogales, Arizona. The NIWTP consists of a Biological Nutrient Removal (BNR), filtering and disinfection. The NIWTP has motors that run Spencer blowers to provide air into bioreactors. These motors are critical for compliance purposes.
2. SPECIFICATIONS:
Supply and deliver three (3) motor meeting the following specifications:

Eff. 95.8 P.F. 93 Rating – Duty Full Load Torque 588 LB-FT Start Configuration DOL Breakdown Torque 2925 LB-FT Locked-Rotor Torque 630 LB-FT Starting Current 2845 Amps No-Load Current 90 Amps Line-line res. @ 25 degrees C. 0.00705 Ohms Temp. Rise @ Rated Load 71 degrees C Temperature Rise @ S.F. Load 94 degrees C
3. SITE ACCESS:
The NIWTP is a restricted access facility and access to the site must be in accordance with USIBWC procedures. Currently all visitors and contractors are escorted by USIBWC personnel.
All vendors and contractors must adhere to COVID-19 requirements for social distancing and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) (i.e. mask and gloves).
Vendors/Contractors will not be permitted access to IBWC facilities without proper PPE.
4. WORKING HOURS:
Work hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM local time, Monday to Friday except for Federal Holidays. Delivery of products shall be made within these working hours.
