STATEMENT OF WORK

Preventative Maintenance for USSS owned Boats Kennebunkport, ME

1. BACKGROUND: The United States Secret Service has a requirement for the preventative maintenance and emergency service of two (2) USSS owned boats located in Kennebunkport, Maine.

2. SCOPE: The contractor shall perform scheduled preventative maintenance on the USSS fleet of boats. Preventative maintenance shall include, but is not limited to general maintenance of engines, inspection of structural damage, winterizing and service of engine and boats. In addition to the scheduled preventative maintenance, the contractor shall provide 24 hour on-call service during the months of May through October.

Preventative Maintenance shall be conducted as recommended by the engine manufacturers. The engines of the boats are made by Mercury and Honda.

3. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS: The contractor shall be trained and certified in:

Mercury Outboard boat engine analysis, maintenance and repair and shall be American Boat and Yacht Council (ABCY) certified. Additionally, offeror shall be an authorized Mercury Honda Outboard dealer/repair facility.

4. SPECIFIC TASKS: The contractor shall perform the following tasks:

1. As needed preventative maintenance on two (2) USSS owned boats

2. Emergency Service calls for months May through October. Emergency Services shall be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

5. DELIVERABLES AND DELIVERY SCHEDULE: Upon completion of all work, the contractor shall furnish a work report that outlines all work and inspections conducted.

The sheet should include a breakdown of all pricing, which shall include, but is not limited to labor, parts and other charges. The report will be provided to the on site USSS point of contact.

6. GOVERNMENT-FURNISHED EQUIPMENT AND INFORMATION: The contractor shall provide all material and equipment necessary to perform the required tasks.

7. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: This requirement shall be completed at the contractor’s facility, or on site, depending on the capabilities of the contractor and the level of work required on the boats.

8. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Preventative maintenance shall be performed on all USSS owned boats for a period of one (1) year from date of award, followed by two (2) one year option periods.
