About this file

This document is a bidders' questions and answers summary for RFP HSS-26-026 Syringe Services Program issued by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHSS). The RFP solicits proposals for a Syringe Services Program with contract terms of three years and two optional one-year extensions, for a maximum potential term of five years. The state anticipates awarding at least one contract but will make as many awards as necessary to ensure statewide coverage across the state.

Funding for this RFP is provided through annually appropriated state funds, with the current fiscal year total appropriation of $660,400. Awards made under this RFP will be prorated to align with remaining fiscal year funds and remaining budget availability. The document addresses a discrepancy found in the original RFP regarding contract term duration by clarifying that the correct contract period is three years with two optional one-year extensions, resolving conflicting language that appeared on different pages of the RFP.
