QUESTIONS and ANSWERS

Questions / Answers:

1. Can you clarify the questions below in regards to the following statement?

“The office employed at least half of the offeror’s permanent employees: A statement listing the names of the permanent employees employed by your main operating office. A statement confirming that at least half of the listed employees represent half of the offeror’s permanent employees. “

a. QUESTION: Are you looking for us to include admin staff or just our interpreters in this calculation?

ANSWER: If the admin staff are part of your permanent employees, include them.

b. QUESTION: Also can you define permanent?

ANSWER: A permanent employee – directly employed work for an employer and are paid directly by employer. In additional to their wages, they often receive benefits like subsidized health care, paid vacations, holidays, sick time or contributions to a retirement plan.

c. QUESTION: IE does this mean full time W-9 Employees?

ANSWER: W-9’s are used for independent Contractors which would be the opposite of the definition of permanent employees listed above.
