D. The following Questions have been received:
1. Question 1
(a) Question: L.16.2.2 indicates that the offeror is to provide a list of twelve (12) projects demonstrating experience is soils reinforcement as designer and installer. What specifically are you specifically looking for in terms of “soils reinforcement”? Geotextiles, retaining walls, piers, etc.?
Answer: SOIL REINFORCEMENT BY DRAP (SEE SPEC SECTION 023000)

Answer: DRAP SYSTEM (SECTION 023000) IS NOT DESIGNED AND IS TO BE DESIGNED AND INSTALLED BY THE OFFEROR OR ITS SUBCONTRACTOR. THE REQUESTED TWELVE EXAMPLES SHALL DEMONSTRATE THAT THE OFFEROR OR ITS SUBCONTRACTOR(S) HAVE DESIGNED AND INSTALLED THE DRAP SYSTEM.
(c ) Question: Must all of the twelve projects involve both design and installation? Or can some of the projects be installation only?
Answer: IF THE OFFEROR IS PROPOSING A DESIGNER AND AN INSTALLER OF THE DRAP SYSTEM AS TWO SEPARATE SUBCONTRACTOR, THEN DESIGNER AND THE INSTALLAR OF THE DRAP SYSTEM EACH SHALL HAVE TWELVE REPRESENTATIVE PROJECTS. THE DESIGNER’S PROJECTS AND THE INSTALLER’S PROJECTS MAY BE THE SAME PROJECTS. IF THE OFFEROR IS PROPOSING ONLY ONE SUBCONTRACTOR DESIGNATED TO PROVIDE DESIGN AND INSTALLATION OF THE DRAP SYSTEM THEN THE SUBCONTRACTOR SHALL HAVE DESIGNED TWELVE PROJECTS AND INSTALLED TWELVE PROJECTS.
