About this file
This document is a justification and approval for a sole source contract award. The Defense Health Agency plans to exercise a six-month bridge contract extension with Altarum Institute Inc. for operational support services related to three ongoing healthcare surveys of DoD beneficiaries, TRICARE providers, and TRICARE beneficiaries. The follow-on non-personal services contract will involve tasks such as designing survey tools, conducting data collection and analysis, and producing reports. The contract was awarded on a sole source basis to the incumbent due to a lack of other contractors able to satisfy the agency's requirements. The contract number is HT0011-20-C-0008 and was awarded on December 21, 2020.
