Technical Matrix

REQUIREMENTS:
The contractor shall provide comprehensive training utilizing varied martial arts to teach NSW combatives techniques applicable to tactical military/self-defensive scenarios.4
Contractor shall be prepared to create a cooperative training environment for a mixed audience with various skill levels.4.1
The contractor shall provide Fundamental Combatives Training to teach basic combative/survival techniques for up to fifty (50) personnel per session. These survival tactics and principles shall be integrated into a comprehensive, operationally-minded mixed martial arts program.4.1.1
The training shall incorporate the tactical application of six (6) principles of unarmed combatives: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, Boxing, Judo, Muay Thai, and Kali.4.1.1.1
The contractor shall maintain a ratio of one (1) instructor per ten (10) students (1:10) in the tactical application of the principles of unarmed combatives4.1.1.2
Vendor shall provide a minimum of thirty (30) hours of instruction over a five (5) day period.4.1.1.3

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
The contractor shall demonstrate modifications to techniques applicable when either member and/or opponent is wearing protective tactical gear.4.3.1
Upon completion of the course, the Contractor shall provide each student with a certificate of completion, notating the student name, type of training attended, number of hours completed and date of completion.4.3.2
INSTRUCTOR QUALIFICATIONS
Contractor must be screened for physical and psychological suitability for this type of high-risk training. Proof of physical and psychological screening shall be in the form of written statement signed by a competent medically authority stating the individual is physically and mentally fit to conduct this type of training (See Appendix A-C).4.3.3.1
Contractor shall have prior experience in the development and delivery of a combative-skills course for Special Operations Forces (SOF).4.3.3.2
Contractor shall provide instructors with a minimum of a black belt with 5 years of experience coaching and teaching the principles of various unarmed combatives (Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, Boxing, Judo, Muay Thai, and Kali).4.3.3.3
The primary instructor shall have a minimum of 3 years of experience working with Special Operations Forces (SOF) and a minimum of 5 years of experience teaching beginner through advanced students.4.3.3.4
Each additional instructor shall have at least 3 years of experience teaching/instructing in their respective discipline of the six principles of unarmed combatives.4.3.3.5
