1. INTRODUCTION: The Center for SEAL and SWCC (CENSEALSWCC) requires

Everything DiSC© Management assessments and Everything DiSC© Work of Leaders assessments, with associated profiles and reports, for use in the Naval Special Warfare (NSW)

Platoon Leaders Course (PLC).

2. BACKGROUND:

2.1. Everything DiSC© Management includes four products that provide personnel attending the

NSW PLC the necessary leadership and relational tools to more effectively lead junior personnel: (1) Management Assessments that identify individual behavioral style preferences as managers. (2) Management Profiles that translate the assessment results into a common language, and are used as a tool for the individual to adapt their style to effectively manage, lead, motivate and delegate subordinates. (3) Comparison Reports that help each student dyad

(Platoon Officer in Charge & Platoon Chief Petty Officer) develop a greater understanding of how their management tendencies differ, and enable them to appreciate the benefit of adapting their style as necessary to increase the team’s problem-solving potential, thereby making them more effective leaders and managers of the platoon. (4) Facilitator Reports to assist the certified instructor in leading the feedback session/discussion, which helps participants recognize the styles of other platoon members and of command leadership, thereby enabling them to develop strategies to increase the effectiveness, reduce the stress that often occurs in professional relationships, and ultimately enables the command to better accomplish its mission.

2.2. Everything DiSC© Work of Leaders assessments, and the associated Profiles and

Comparison Reports, identify individual behavioral style preferences for leaders. These products will assist the supported team’s leadership triad (Commanding Officer, Executive Officer, and

Command Master Chief) in understanding how their tendencies influence their effectiveness in specific leadership situations, and lead to improved communication inside and outside the triad.

3. SCOPE: The contractor shall provide an Electronic Profile Information Center (EPIC)

Administrator Account, which is an online tool for managing the delivery and storage of

Everything DiSC© products. The contractor shall provide technical support for the management of the EPIC Account. The government will administer the assignment of Access Codes to students, print the necessary reports, and manage the organization/storage of past reports. The government will use the reports to lead a facilitated discussion, led by a CENSEALSWCC Staff member who is a certified DiSC© Facilitator.
