STATEMENT OF WORK
SEAL Delivery Vehicle Broad Area Sensor Replacement Components
1.0 APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
1.1 UNDERSEA WARFARE ENGINEERING SYSTEMS OFFICE (USWESO) SSS PROCEDURES REV 1.0 19MAY2011
2.0 OVERVIEW
2.1 The Broad Area Sensor (BAS) is an integrated system of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components for the SEAL Delivery Vehicle (SDV) to provide situational awareness and data gathering for Special Operations Forces (SOF) during operations.
3.0 BACKGROUND
3.1 The Government requires specific BAS replacement components to maintain mission readiness and system configuration.
4.0 OBJECTIVES
4.1 This contract will encompass the delivery of specified BAS components with associated technical support and warranty coverage.
4.2 These systems will ensure mission readiness of SOF worldwide.
5.0 SCOPE
5.1 This statement of work defines the tasks that shall be performed as part of this Contract for Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC). The support shall pertain to the delivery of specified replacement BAS parts for use in Pearl City, Hawaii. The Contractor shall provide all materials and shipping to the designated address in Pearl City, Hawaii.
6.0 REQUIREMENTS
6.1 During the period of performance of this requirement, the Contractor shall deliver the required component(s) and associated materials within 90 calendar days of the date of the delivery order.
7.0 DELIVERABLES
7.1 The Contractor shall deliver the following parts with quantities, delivery location, and delivery dates as defined in the contract. This parts list may be updated as appropriate to reflect any future modifications to the BAS.

8.0 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE
8.1 Base Award: Date of award plus 12 months
8.2 Option Year 1 (End of base plus 12 months)
9.0 QUALITY ASSURANCE
9.1 The Government will inspect the Contractor's performance under this contract using surveillance methods appropriate for the nature and complexity of this requirement. The Government anticipates evaluating the Contractor’s compliance with the timely and proper delivery of the quantity and types of goods specified. The Contractor may be given the opportunity to correct or address any adverse findings resulting from the Government's inspection consistent with the Inspection/Acceptance clause in the contract. Failure to correct any adverse findings or failure to deliver all products/services described in this contract may result in non-acceptance of the products/services by the Government. Failure to meet the standards of this contract may result in a deduction of price at least equal to the value of the unperformed or poorly performed requirements. Performance will be evaluated to determine whether or not it meets the performance standards of this contract. Re-performance at no cost to the Government is the preferred method of correcting any unacceptable performance. The Contractor shall provide the Government written response why the performance standard was not met, how performance will be returned to acceptable levels, and how recurrence of the cause will be prevented in the future. Failure to perform in accordance with this contract could also result in termination of the contract for cause and/or adversely impact the Contractor's ability to be selected for future contracts.
