QUESTIONS 1:

The CLIN 0001 and CLIN 1001. What are these?

ANSWER 1:

Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) are defined and described in detail in the statement of work. Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) represents supplies that are priced on a firm-fixed price basis. Also, in this case CLIN 0001 represents one year and CLIN 1001 represents an additional year called Option.

QUESTIONS 2:

Also, where can I get the Representations and Certifications to complete?

ANSWER 2:

Go to https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/default.aspx Click on ORCA on the left side of the page. You will then see: “Welcome to the Online Representations and

Certifications Application (ORCA)” at the top of the page. Type in your

DUNS Number to pull up your “Representations and Certifications”

QUESTIONS 3:

What are the amendments that may be issued that need acknowledgement?

ANSWER 3:

The amendments is a change or an addition to the pending synopsis/solicitation.

For example, this new posting called Questions and Answers to this anouncement is called a amendments. As part of the submittal process, you need to acknowledge each of the amendments in your proposal.

QUESTIONS 4:

I also need a copy of the current contract the present contractor is working under. I'm just checking to see if any of the wording and etc. has changed. Can you tell me if there is a fifty-five pound minimum and 14 day quarantine period in the present contract?

ANSWER 4:

Yes, the wording is the same. There is a fifty-five pound minimum and 14 day quarantine period required in the current contract.

QUESTIONS 5:

I saw no provisions for payment with credit card. Is there a way we can get paid with a credit card? If not, how long from delivery of the caprines do we receive payment using electronic Invoicing?

ANSWER 5:

Yes, you can make a request in your porposal to be paid using the government credit card. DFAS usually takes about 30 days.

QUESTIONS 6:

Why is the new contract for caprines for 2 years only.

ANSWER 5:

The new requirement is for only 2 years due to time constraints.
