Correct Mechanical Def. Pre Bid Log.

Is the water drained out of the system?

The system is currently drained Is it Domestic pipe ,Valves etc:?

All pipe to be replaced with same composition and make of pipe that is currently in service. Contractor shall verify pipe composition during site visit. Specifications for valves located in SOW.

What brand and shade of RED paint :

Contractor shall match existing finishes. Paint shall be of the type typical for use in mechanical spaces. No brand preference specified.

Is there any SPEC's for grout :

Contractor shall follow the manufacturer’s requirements of the pump that they propose.

The Patterson pump that is referenced in the SOW does not require grouting.

base to new pumps do the old ones need to be removed or just enlarged ?

Contractor may use existing base pads if their proposed configurations of the new pump and plumbing will support centered installation on the existing pad. Pads may be extended upon approval from the COR provided that they are affixed to existing pads in an acceptable manner including chamfered finished edges and epoxy secured dowels.
