TEST AFTER INSTALLATION

This unit was leak tested at -30°C and flow-tested before leaving HIF.

To ensure that no leaks were produced during shipping and handling, carefully inspect the unit for leaks after installation.

To inspect the unit: pressurize the system, then apply, to each possible leak point, a fluid which will form bubbles if any leak is present. Soapy water, Windex, or leak-detection fluids such as 'Snoop' all work well.

Points to check: each of the tubing connections, each of the pipe-thread connections (including the oil-fill plug), each of the valve stems, the gasketed joints, such as where the sight-feed cup mates to the sight-feed body and between the top and bottom halves of the Conoflow brand pressure regulator.

Also check each possible leak point in the rest of the system: the gas supply, pressure regulator, pressure transducer, and connecting tubing.
