MODIFICATION TO FA9302-19-Q-5051

This is RFQ is being modified to provide the following questions and answers:

1) Confirm the contractor is responsible for all electrical disconnections/connections required for removal & install?

ANSWER: Yes, contractor is responsible all electrical disconnections/connections required for removal & install

2) Is there a loading dock on site?

ANSWER: Yes

3) How far is the UPS from the loading dock?

ANSWER: 95 Ft.

4) If there is not a loading dock, how far is the UPS from the entry point?

ANSWER: There is a loading dock 95 Ft. from the UPS

5) If the UPS is not on the first floor, what floor is it on and is there an elevator for use?

ANSWER: UPS is on the ground floor

6) Can the UPS be stored on the loading dock a day or two before install?

ANSWER: Yes

7) Is there a pallet jack available for use on site?

ANSWER: Customer has forklift available if product is palletized

8) Do the bid documents include any drawings of the current site configuration? These will help in determining how the old system will be removed and the new system moved into place.

ANSWER: No drawings, but included is the exact information from the UPS and battery cabinet nomenclature plates on the cabinets and photos.

9) Is there any information on the existing battery strings that they are requesting to replace?

Are they in cabinets, what is the cabinet model number ANSWER: See Cabinet Model information provided as an attachment

10) Since the job requirement includes installation and removal of old units would it be possible to have a job/site walk to provide a more accurate pricing.

ANSWER: At this time we are unable to accommodate a site walk prior to receipt of quotes or award.

11) The requirement ask for replacement of 225kVA Toshiba Enhanced G9000UPS. It also requires replacement of batteries only using existing cabinets. It also requires using existing MBS. Can we have the technical spec of the battery cabinet as well as the existing MBS so we can double check if this will match with an equivalent UPS we are quoting. Otherwise we will have to quote the battery cabinet with the batteries and a new

MBS.

12) Is this an inside delivery with loading dock and liftgate?

ANSWER: Yes this would be an inside delivery, the building does have a loading dock that can be used if required. There is no lift gate but we do have access to a forklift that can be utilized for palletized deliveries.

The Closing date of this RFQ has been extended to Wednesday 25 September 2019 at

9:00am (PST).
