Vendor Questions and Government Answers for FA9101-24-Q-B074

1. Vendors Question: Are new thermostats are required on the lines outside the building?

Governments Answer: If you are referring to temperature transmitters (TT), no they are not required to be changed out

2. Vendors Question: Are new gauges are required on the lines outside the building?

Governments Answer: No, pressure and temperature gauges are not required to be replaced.

3. Vendors Question: Are new flex connections required when connecting to the water lines?

Governments Answer: Are you referring to insulation and cladding on the inlet/outlet piping from the chiller? You may have to replace some of the insulation where it is required. Cladding may be re-used.

4. Vendors Question: Please confirm there is no requirement to bleed the water lines in the building.

Governments Answer: No, bleeding the water lines will not be required. If required, it will be done in-house.

5. Vendors Question: Is a bond required?

Government Answer: Bond is not required.

6. Vendors Question: Who is the controls contractor for the existing unit?

Government Answer: The existing unit is a Carrier.
