NETWORK SWITCHES AND FIBER MODULES
Requirements Document
For
704th Test Group/704 Test Support Squadron
24 July 2024
1.0 PURPOSE
The 704th Test Group (704 TG) mission is to be the premier provider of unique test and evaluation capabilities relevant to tomorrow’s warfighter through world-class people improving technical excellence, cost-effectiveness, and agility. The 704th Test Support Squadron (704 TSS) is assigned to the 704 TG.
The 704 TSS provides support services to the entire 704th Test Group, including IT services. The 704 TSS requires 37 network switches and 70 fiber modules to support the 704 TG’s data storage requirements. All items must be Trade Agreement Act (TAA) compliant.
2.0 SCOPE
The Contractor shall deliver 37 network switches with no ongoing license or subscription fees and 70 fiber modules with the following specifications:
Item 1 Quantity: 3
• 24 Port Managed Layer 3 Fiber Switch
• 24 x 1G/10G (or greater speed) : SFP+
• 480 or greater Gbps Switching Fabric
• Feature Set : Layer 3
• Console: RJ45 RS232 or Mini-USB
• TAA compliant
Item 2 Quantity: 2
• 48 port Stackable Managed Layer 3 Switch
• 48 x 1G : RJ45
• Minimum 4 x 1G/10G (or greater speed) : SFP+ (Mix of SFP+ and RJ45 Acceptable)
• Feature Set : Layer 3
Item 3 Quantity: 32
• 24 port Stackable Managed Layer 3 Switch
• 24 x 1G : RJ45
• Minimum 2 x 1G/10G (or greater speed) : SFP+
• Feature Set : Layer 3
Item 4 Quantity: 70
• Compatible 10GBase-LR, single-mode, SFP+ Transceiver
• Connector Type: LC Duplex
• Fiber Optic Cable Type: Single-Mode
• Data Transfer Rate: 10 Gbps
• Form Factor: SFP+
3.0 MILESTONES
The contractor shall deliver 37 network switches and 70 fiber modules no later than 60 days After Receipt of Order (ARO).
4.0 DELIVERABLES
The contractor shall deliver all hardware and documentation to 704 TSS/TGSI, Attn: Jason Vraa at 1644 Vandergrift road, building 1265, Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico 88330.
