Expansion Joint RFI- 7.22.2019
Q. Please confirm pressure for the first two 8” EJs is 1230 PSIG and not just 230 PSIG.
The last 2 EJs are only 230. So we are wondering if the 1230 number is a typo or not, or if it is real?
Please confirm?
A. Of the 8” expansion joints, there are six (6) total. There are four (4) each gimbal style (Data Sheet HPA-EJ1-RF) and two (2) each hinge style (Data Sheet HPA-EJ3-RF). The pressure listed on both data sheets, shown at Row 10 in the Service Section, is 1230 psig. I don’t see 230 psig anywhere on the data sheets. Plus there are six (6) total. The email below implies there are four (4) total – reference first two (2) and last two (2).
