MEMORADUM FOR RECORD
SUBJECT: QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS FOR REQUEST FOR QUOTES
REQUIREMENT: FA860124Q0047 Wide Mobile Loading Dock
Question: What side of the deck should the Edge of Dock Leveler be welded to?
Answer: Looking at the ramp as if you were about to drive up it the leveler should be on the left side or driver’s side.
Question: Does the deck need any stairways or ladders?
Answer: Removable ladder on the driver’s side
Question: What sides of the deck require handrails?
Answer: Removable hand rails on both sides that comply with osha standards
Question: Please clarify the location(s) and total dimensions of the bolt-on side extension(s) for the deck.
Answer: Side extensions give the dock a width of 120” for safe unloading of oversized items.
