B31 Modular Furniture

Vendor RFIs and Responses

21 April 2021

1. Typical MO.1 - T-shape workstation, qty of 5, in the description is states a total of 2 wall hung markerboards. To clarify, is this 2 markerboards for the 5 workstations or shall we provide 2 markerboards per workstation with a total of 10 boards?

Response: We are requesting an overall total of 2 markerboards for MO.1.

2. Typical MW.1 shows on the plan the modular wall connecting to the existing demountable wall. Do you have any information as to what product is there? Is there a picture of the existing wall system? This will help us figure how to connect.

Response: The customer will be repainting the demountable wall. Please see attachment 6 and 7 for images of the existing wall.

3. I have a question on the panel tile configuration. In the panel configuration below. The B panels have markerboard tiles noted to be on the front and back of the panels, where the (2) MO.1 typiclas are back to back you will not be able to access the markerboards. Should that run of panels be A panels and then put marker board tiles on the inside of the A panels in the last typical?

Response: See updated Attachment 4 – B31 Drawings.

4. Are CAD drawings available for these areas?

Response: Please request CAD drawings by email.

5. Is a drawing available showing the junction box locations for power pole electrical connections?

Response: No, but the customer will be providing junction boxes in the locations of the power poles.

6. If possible, can you tell us the material that the front of the existing demountable wall is?

Response: Not available image1.jpeg image2.jpeg
