Q & A Regarding Statement of Work

Reference Section 2.2.1 “Materials used associated to emergency response calls will be covered by the contractor per contract and “

Question: Is the governments’ definition of “material” mean supplies that may be consumed or expended during the performance of a contract?

Answer: Yes

Reference Section 4.0 SPARE PARTS INVENTORY, TOOLS AND INSTRUMENTS: The contractor shall maintain, within one day delivery time to WPAFB, spare parts as stated on the maintenance budgetary estimate. The contractor will have on-hand the necessary tools and instruments to maintain the installed equipment. Only new parts shall be used when performing repairs. In the event of a failure the item will be shipped next day delivery to WPAFB, at the unit price indicated on the budgetary estimate.

Question: Currently there are no provision in the CLIN structure for invoicing the spare parts when they are shipped. Is the government going to add a CLIN for spares?

Answer: We will pay with GPC or separate contract.

Question: There is a cost associated with the maintaining a set aside spare parts inventory. Is the government going to add a CLIN that can be priced for providing this service?

Answer: No, the vendor will have to incur any associated cost.

Reference 5.0 SECURITY CLEARANCE: The contractor will be a United States Citizen and maintain at least a secret clearance, per ICD 705-1 and not have any previous felony convictions.

Question: Is the government going to provide a DD254 so we may start the security clearance processes?

Answer: No DD254 will be provided as part of this solicitation.
