Robotic Laser Depaint System

Site Visit held 16 Apr 2018

1. Will the current dust collectors in B20180 and B673 be reused?

Answer: It depends if the CFMs of the current dust collectors meet the needs of the vendor's laser system. Current CFM’s will be called out in the Purchase Description.

2. Question: Will the government provide details on the CFMs?

Answer: This is provided in the Purchase Description.

3. What is the payload for the new robot?

Answer: This is provided in the Purchase Description.

4. Will the existing Robot Model be provided?

Answer: Yes.

5. Question: Will there be a warranty on the retrofits?

Answer: Only for the Laser.

6. Question: What is the cycle time?

Answer: Strip rate/Acceptance criteria is called out in the Purchase Description.

7. Question: Does the TO call out for the flash jet?

Answer: Yes, the TO calls out for two methods: Flashjet and Laser.

8. Question: Will the Co2 Pellets be used?

Answer: No, the Government will not use Co2 Pellets.
