Question and Answer
FA8533-13-R-01021
5 June 2013
Question: Paragraph 3.12.13.4.1 describes an automatic flow regulator rated at 1.0GPM plus or minus 10%. Can the Government provide any sources for subject requirement?
Answer: The following companies are some possible sources for the plus or minus 10% valve: Snap-tite, Vonberg, and Parker. Please note that this is not an all-inclusive list and there may be more possible sources. However, all offerors are reminded that it is the responsibility of each offeror to locate the resources necessary to meet the requirements of the subject solicitation. While companies may advertise valves to the 10% tolerance, experience indicates that the valves may require special manufacturing controls and test procedures to ensure they consistently meet the PD specification and First Production test requirements.
