Falcon Up Kit Q & A’s, Set # 1 FA8232-14-R-3007 Falcon Up Kit Procurement Questions & Answers 22 July 2014

1. Q How do contractors identify Lockheed Martin-approved sources?

A At this time, the Government does not possess a comprehensive directory of approved sources, but a listing of approved sources has been requested from Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. If received prior to the close of the proposal submission date, the listing will be provided to vendors.

2. Q Why does the attachment Parts_List_Quantity201414025-10 have 0, 0, 0, 1, 1, and 2 as quantities for Lines 11-16, while the other lines request 11 for a quantity? How does this relate to the First Article delivery?

A The Government has sufficient inventory of part numbers -170, 190, and -210, so these items are not part of the kit procurement requirement. The Government requires that part numbers -230 (QTY: 1), -250 (QTY: 1), and -270 (QTY: 2) be included in vendor proposals.

The First Article should include part numbers -230 (QTY: 1), -250 (QTY: 1), and -270 (QTY: 1). The First Production Article should include part number -270 (QTY: 1).
