· Description-This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
· The solicitation number is FA8214-17-R-CTS1. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ)
· The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-89.

· Description of requirements-Purchase of 1 Micro-Focus CT for scanning small aerospace components, parts, and pieces. Along with the machine, there is a requirement installation, testing, training, warranties, and maintenance packages, (see attached SOO).
· Delivery, installation, testing & training will be required to be completed NLT 4 months after receipt of award. Delivery, testing, and training will need to be coordinated with the Program Manager (PM), Steven Hooper (steven.hooper.1@us.af.mil or 801-777-4363). All installation and equipment operations will be performed in the Missile Assembly Maintenance and Storage (MAMS) area building 2113, Hill AFB, Utah 84056. Final Government inspection and acceptance will take place at this location (Destination). FOB point will be Destination.
· Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL)- Contractor will be required to submit all applicable information IAW CDRL listing in section 6.0 of SOO
· Provisions and Clauses-Contractor shall comply with and submit any information required by the below clauses and provision.
· The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition.
· The following procedures will be used instead of procedures described in provision 52.212-2.
· The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The Government will use a Best Value determination to determine the successful offeror IAW FAR 13.106-1(a)(2).
· Factors for award include price, technical acceptability, and contractor past performance.
· The extended warranties and maintenance packages will be included as Options, which the Government anticipates exercising subject to the availability of funds. These options will be evaluated and included in the total evaluated price.
· A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer emailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offer's specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award.
· Offeror must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer only if the offeror has not completed the annual representations and certification electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) Web site accessed through http://www.acquisition.gov . If the Offeror has not completed the annual representations and certifications electronically, the Offeror shall complete only paragraphs (c) through (r) of this provision.
