LMTF TEMPERATURE/HUMIDITY AND TEMPERATURE/ALTITUDE CHAMBER INSTALLATION DETAILS July 16, 2015

LMTF TEMPERATURE/HUMIDITY AND TEMPERATURE/ALTITUDE CHAMBER INSTALLATION DETAILS

This document details the area where both the Temperature/Humidity and the Temperature/Altitude chambers are to be installed. These are separate procurements; each vendor shall be responsible for the facility interfaces for the system they provide.

CHAMBER LOCATIONS - BUILDING 501

All dimensions are in inches Locations and sizes are notional. Locations can extend beyond the mezzanine (green area) and one chamber could be located under the narrow portion of the mezzanine height permitting. Location of each chamber shall be coordinated with LMTF.

Chamber placement shall allow forklift access to the south end of the mezzanine, to the double doors on the West side of the high bay, and to both chamber doors.

Installation of drains for condensate lines will be required for the installation(s). There are no drain lines in or near the area where the chambers will be located. The existing altitude chamber vents condensate through a white PVC line which is routed up under the mezzanine and out the North wall. Due to the anticipated increase in condensate from the new systems LMTF recommends the condensate line(s) be routed inside along the North wall above the personnel door and discharge into the existing roof drain in the Northeast corner of the building.
