QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Solicitation #FA8126-18-Q-0017

Date posted to FBO 05 January 2018

1) Section C, paragraph 4 of the Single Source Justification letter says that we will be replacing the Louden Super track. Will we need to use the existing hangers for the track?

· Yes.

2) Will we also use the existing electrification on the crane rails?

· Yes.

3) Will there be a "Job Walk" date scheduled in the future?

· No.

4) Can you please verify the quantity of the line number 5 and 6?

· Line Item #0005 quantity is four (4) each

· Line Item #0006 quantity is two (2) each

5) Will this have two (2) 3 ton hoists on one bridge crane or if there is a separate bridge crane already on hand for the second hoist. The way the solicitation is written it seems as though two (2) 3 ton hoists will be used on one 3 ton bridge crane. If both hoists will be used on the requested bridge crane (CLIN 0002 in the solicitation) the specs may not support the use of two 3 ton hoists as the bridge crane should be a 6 ton. If it is going to be used with both hoists CLIN 0001 on the dingle girder underhung dual drive crane who will take responsibility for the fact that the crane is not designed to support that capacity?

· This will be a single girder, dual hoist bridge crane. Max Load of 3 ton
