Question 1: On page eight (8), paragraph three (3) it reads, “Evaluation Criteria 1) Technical

Acceptability 2) Price” – is there additional “Technical” Criteria we need to include in our proposal other than what is in the “Bridge Cranes and Hoists Item Description” specifications?

Response 1: No.

Question 2: Are there any liquidated damages provisions?

Response 2: Please see Clause 52.212-4(6)(iii)(B) on page 25 of the Combined

Synopsis/Solicitation.

Question 3: Does the vendor need to quote installation?

Response 3: No, refer note in the item description under “additional notes” subtitle.

Question 4: Is there any sort of layout showing the host position and work envelope?

Response 4: Layout drawing showing bridge crane position can be provided after contract award.

Question 5: What repercussions, if any, if a vendor cannot meet these dates due to manufacturer’s lead times on hoist?

Response 5: Vendors should coordinate with manufacturers to present a viable price & delivery.

Vendor may present additional options if they feel they may be unable to meet the exact delivery dates. Vendor will be held accountable to agree upon delivery dates.

Question 6: Is the contractor responsible for installing the eight (8) cranes?

Response 6: No, refer note in the item description under “additional notes” subtitle.

Question 7: Who is the manufacturer and what is the model of existing “electrified conductors”?

Response 7: The electrified conductors are by Duct-O Wire, the Duct-O-Bar Electrical

Conductor System.

Question 8: Who is the manufacturer and what are the models of hoists, current collector shoes, etc. on existing bridge cranes?

Response 8: The hoists were provided as part of the bridge crane, which was manufactured by

Acco Wright.

Question 9: Who is responsible for providing information about existing bridge cranes after award, contractor or government?

Response 9: The government.
