1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES.

1.1. OBJECTIVE.

The objective is the purchase and installation of audio visual electronic equipment and television sets in the Martha Washington room Bldg 6001, Airman & Family Readiness Center. We are looking for a turn-key solution to provide the necessary units, to include all equipment and installation.

1.2. SERVICES:

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services necessary to install (4) 6.5” 70v ceiling loudspeakers, (1) HDBaseT Receiver, (1) 80 Watt Amplifier and (2) 75” LED Television sets. (This installation will include all equipment necessary to install a mount and cable system as well as a Rack system to hold the equipment.

1.3. BASIC SERVICES. The contractor shall be responsible to provide and the audio visual system at 72d FSS/FSFR, Airman & Family Readiness Center, Bldg 6001, Arnold Ave.

Contractor shall complete all electrical work required to complete project.

2. REQUIREMENTS:

The contractor shall prepare system drawings, purchase the equipment, and pre-assemble the system components as is necessary to complete the overall installation in a timely fashion.

All electronic equipment installed in equipment rack shall be protected with an eight-outlet, 15-amp power conditioner. The unit shall provide standard-level surge and spike protection, and include RFI/EMI filtration to lower the noise floor caused by dirty AC power

3. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED EQUIPMENT (GFE) and SUPPORT:

Contractor requires the job site be made accessible to their employees and that the site includes electrical service.

7. SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

7.1. Ten duty days prior to arrival, the Contractor shall mail or fax a visit authorization letter to the installation site POC listing the name, driver’s license number and state of issue, date of birth and place of birth of the individuals who will be working on the base.

Contractor will be responsible for obtaining written permission/signature from each person’s name submitted for a background check to be completed. If a background check cannot be completed, entry onto the installation cannot be granted. Contact the installation site POC for further guidance.

7.2. Retrieving Identification Media. The Contractor shall be responsible for retrieving all identification media including vehicle passes from employees who depart for any reason before the contract expires e.g. terminate for cause, retirement, etc.

7.3. Contractor and employees shall comply with base traffic regulations.

7.4. Weapons, Firearms, Ammunition. Contractor employees are prohibited from possessing weapons, firearms or ammunition on themselves or within their contractor or privately owned vehicles while on base.

7.5. The Contractor shall be responsible for safeguarding all government property and controlled forms provided for contractor use. At the end of each work period, Contractor shall secure all Government facilities, equipment and materials.

8. SAFETY:

8.1. Safety. The Contractor shall have a safety plan for their employees. The Contractor shall instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and regulations to his or her work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury.

8.2. Accident/Incident Reporting and Investigation. Contractor shall record and report to the A&FRC Facility POC all available facts relating to each instance of accidental damage to Government property or injury to either Contractor or Government personnel.

The Contractor shall secure the accident scene and wreckage until released by the accident investigative authority through the A&FRC Facility POC. If the Government elects to conduct an investigation of the incident, the Contractor shall cooperate fully and assist the Government personnel until the investigation is completed.

9. DELIVERY: Delivery shall begin within 30 days of contract award and completed within 45 days, not to exceed 60 days total from award of the contract.
