FA700019QA017 Temporary Classroom (Mid-field trailer) Amendment #01 Supplemental information and RFI responses
The deadline for submission of RFI’s is NLT 6 Feb 19.
Lease NAICS Code of 531120 is found to be acceptable for this acquisition in addition to the posted NAICS Q&A to RFI as of 29 Jan 2019:
1. Is the Government looking for NEW building or a used building?
Governement Response: EITHER, But the building should be 2014 or newer and meet requirements of the Statement of Work, which includes State of Colorado requirements for off-site modular construction. The Government always reserves the right to refuse acceptance of nonconforming items. (52.212-4).
2. On page 3 of 27 Supplies or Services and Prices/Cost I do not see a line item for the delivery and installation of the building. I do not see a teardown or return delivery line item on this page also. The Government only references the lease for 24 months and (2) one year options.
Governement Response: Price is considered to be all inclusive of the salient characteristics contained in the SOW 3A-, which includes delivery and installation of a functional trailer(s) and removal upon Government termination of the lease. Note SOW 3K which discusses maintenance requirements.
3. On page 5 of 27, Line J. Electrical Requirements: #3 states that the building should be Pre-wired for Pull stations and smoke detectors connected to a zone panel inside the building. What type/brand of fire alarm system is acceptable? Do you also require a MNS with the fire alarm system? Who is responsible for the testing of this system?
Governement Response: Acceptable Fire Alarm system: Any UL/NFPA system and components are acceptable. Mass notification System is not required. System testing will be accomplished by CE contractor personnel.
4. The RFQ does not state that any Data Communication is needed or required for phones or computers. Is this correct?
Governement Response: Electrical outlet power and safety features outlined in SOW J.
Additional Amendment(s) will be posted based on additional RFIs or changes regarding this acquisition.
