Question 1. Please provide an existing one-line diagram of the distribution for this project.

See attached base one-line drawing.

Question 2. The one-line diagram on E2.1 does not show the refeeding of building 813. Please clarify work on the one-line diagram.

See attached B813_Panels and base one-line drawing.

Question 3. How long can buildings 813 and 814 be shutdown?

Building 813 should be shutdown for the least amount of time possible. No more than a few hours.

Can they be down for multiple days?

No.

Question 4. Please provide information as to where within the building the conductors feeding 813 are located.

See attached B813_Panels additional drawing.

Please provide information as to what they are feeding.

They are feeding a 480v MDP. The panel is within 6 feet of the edge of the wall.

Is this feeder within the building to be demolished as part of this project?

Not necessarily; the feeder can be spliced at the handhole and pulled into the building.

If so, can a site walk of this feeder within the building be provided?

No

Question 5. According to Drawing Note #2 on Systems Plan E1.4, the "Contractor is to terminate cables to existing patch panel termination location to be provided by Owner during construction" (within Comm Room 129). Is it safe to assume that there is enough space in the patch panels to accommodate the added cabling?

No.

Will the Owner be providing any additional patch panels if needed?

No.

If so, will they be loaded or unloaded?

Unloaded

Question 6. Will the data outlets require 4 cables in the TV locations as is with all the other data outlets shown?

No

Question 7. C2/E4.1 shows gray cable for voice and green cable for data, however Specification 271000 Section 2.3.1.1 states the cable shall be blue. Please clarify.

There is no longer a requirement for the separation of voice and data cables. All cable will be CAT6 or greater.

Question 8. Specification 271000 Section 2.4.1 states "Each outlet/connector shall be wired T568B", yet on C2/E4.1 it asks for T568A configuration for the NIPRNET cables. Please clarify.

Only T568B is to be used.
