SITE VISIT MINUTES
FA6633-17-B-0002
INSTALL AUTOMATIC VEHICLE GATES POL
PROJECT: QJKL 15-0028
Site Visit – 30 Mar 2017 (1:00pm) Bldg. 729
A site visit was conducted on 30 Mar 2017 in the Contracting Conference Room, Bldg 729 room 118 (see site visit attendance roster for names of the attendees) for any interested contractors and potential subcontractors.
Contracting/Anthony Misenor provided an overview of the basic contract requirements and some information pertinent to this specific solicitation:
1) One contract will be awarded with one line items (CLINs), CLIN 0001 (Bid Item 1) will include pricing to demolish existing vehicle gates. Provide new electrical service from
Building 606. Furnish and install new electric automatic gates with in-pavement sensors, Common Access Card (CAC) readers, etc. Alter pavement areas as necessary. Accomplish miscellaneous landscaping work.
2) Performance period is 90 days.
3) Funds are presently available.
4) Contractors should pay attention to the “Bid Instructions” in Section L of the solicitation
5) A public bid opening will be conducted on 18 April 2017, 3:00pm in Bldg 729, Room 118.
No late bids will be accepted, and we’ll need security information on anyone attending or delivering a bid.
6) ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE RECEIVED IN WRITING TO ANTHONY MISENOR
NO LATER THAN 10 APRIL 2017. These will be consolidated and responses provided and posted on 13 April to www.fbo.gov
Civil Engineering/Kyle Turner provided a general overview of the project, and what the government’s expectations are for this project.
Documents available at the site visit as indicated below:
a. Business cards for Anthony Misenor
b. Procurement Fair flyers (Procurement Fair on 27 April at the Earle Brown Center)
c. Drawings
d. Map of base
Contractors were advised that 1 amendment had been issued to date. Should other amendments be necessary after 18 April, the bid opening date may need to be extended.
Contractors were then taken to the site for visual inspections. Adequate pictures are included in the drawings with enough detail to bid the project.
