Are Category IV materials the only thing being stored in the armory?
Yes, weapons and ammo only.
Is IDS or ECS required?
Not at this time, however, it may be required in the future.
If an IDS is required, what type or brand is required in order to be compatible with the existing base’s monitoring station?
N/A
How many M4 storage cabinets are required? Can they be double stacked?
Enough to store 60 M4s. Yes, they can be double stacked.
Is an interior cage required to issue weapons from? Or any need for weapon check-out portals or a day gate to issue weapons from?
An interior cage is required to meet DOD and AFI requirements. Weapon check-out portal or day gate is preferred, but not mandatory.
Should the container be shielded? If so what level of shielding?
Shielding is not required.
How many M4 weapons and ammo cabinets have to be stored?
60 M4s. Ammo cabinet is specified.
Are the dimensions definite?
Yes
Are push-outs or pop-ups acceptable to meet size requirements?
No
Extension requests?
