Shoot House movable walls – 52 Security Forces Squadron – Purchase Specifications

Training Section requirements:

The movable walls need to be 36’ x 36’ x 8’. There should be 75 movable elements that include ten (10) doors and ten (10) windows. The windows that are installed must also be resistant to simunition rounds breaking them. Either by having a protectant cover over the window or having the window resistant to sim rounds.

This system needs to enable the capability to demount or slide the wall panels to change the room layout.

This system should utilize an overhead railing system in order to keep the floor clear of being a tripping hazard.

The movable walls system needs to include three (3) breach entry doorways (2 Ram doors and 1 Pry door).

The system needs to meet a Sound Transmission Class (STC) rating of 46 STC.

There needs to be a five year warranty included with the system.

The walls need to be composed of various composite materials and be able to withstand the force of a simunition rounds and have the capability to wash the simunition markings off.

The walls also need to be able to withstand the weight of a 240 pounds person leaning against them without any wall movement.

The contractor will also be responsible for the removal and disposal of the old shoot house walls.

The movable walls need to be able to secure to the floor without the use of floor pins leaving the floors obstacle free.

A video monitoring system is also requested to be installed to allow instructors to review training within the entire training area. The cameras will be capable of recording in low light scenarios and be able to record in 720P or higher resolution. The recording device must be able to record video of 1 hour.

The catwalk in the shoot house will have to be raised to allow for the movable wall system to be installed. (This is only if the walls will not fit under the new catwalk that is being built with a height of 8 feet high). See Attachment
