48TH Fighter WING (USAFE)

MEMORANDUM FOR WHOM IT MAY CONCERN FROM: 48 EMS/MXMM
SUBJECT: Statement of Work for Prefabricated Portable Buildings (Dock Boxes)
1. The 48 Equipment Maintenance Squadron is purchasing three (3) offices the dimensions of the first office would be 6.10 meters by 3.05 meters and the remaining two offices would be 7.32 meters by 3.05 meters. Full HVAC, Sound-deadening, with American and UK spec outlets and LAN ports must be positioned approximately every 1.5 meters all the way around the inside, and complete installation of building. The office windows shall provide 180 degree visibility allow security of the area and enable oversight of the entire work area. Building structure may be erected on site or pre-assembled on a fork-liftable base.
2. Requirements/specifications are as follows SPECIFICATIONS:
(1x) Large Modular Building:
- 6.10m x 3.05m Beacon Large Modular Building
- HVAC (Heat and Cooling) appropriate for building size
- UK 220v and US 110v spec Outlets and LAN ports for 4 work stations
- Comply with UK fire standards to include Sprinkler system, Smoke detector, and CO2 detector
- 48 inch tempered glass or equivalent windows across 1 long wall to provide maximum visibility, may differ by 15%, overall visibility must be 180 degrees regardless of window size.
- 1 door on alternate long wall
(2X) Large Modular Building:
- 7.32m x 3.05m Beacon Large Modular Building
- HVAC (Heat and Cooling)
- UK 220v and US 110v spec Outlets and LAN ports for 6 work stations
- Comply with UK fire standards to include Sprinkler system, Smoke detector, and CO2 detector
- 48 inch high glass or safety plastic equivalent windows across 1 long wall to provide maximum visibility, may differ by 10%, overall visibility must be 180 degrees regardless of window size.
- 2 doors on alternate long wall
For All Buildings:
50% windows should open to provide ventilation and communication. Unit must be prewired for both US 110v/UK 220v plugs, minimum of 5 floor level outlets. The unit must be prewired for Data-Communication Ethernet ports, minimum of 4-6 floor level ports, near outlets. Must include all lighting, preinstalled. HVAC must to sufficiently cool and heat the space in compliance with industry standards for a continuously manned workspace. Circuit panel should have 2 empty spaces for expansion over building requirements. Unit should have 2-3” thick insulted walls for sound deadening. Two large units must have two doors to allow access from either end of back wall. The smaller unit requires one door on the long wall opposite windowed wall. The glass should be tempered or industrial equivalent.
Training:
The contractor shall provide adequate training on the equipment and in conjunction with any training: The contractor shall provide adequate training on the equipment and in conjunction with any required modifications made by the contractor IAW manufacturer’s recommendation or to support industry standards. Adequate training consists of the following:
· How to operate the doors and windows
· Show where the circuit breaker panel is located
· How to change LED lighting
WARRANTY:
Must have warranty on any defects related to the manufacture or installation of the buildings.
1. Contractor requirements
Point of contact (POC). The contractor shall designate in writing a single point of contact to the contracting office for any maintenance service required for this purchase. This information shall include name, title, address, and telephone number.
Telephone assistance. The contractor shall provide telephone assistance during business hours 0800 hrs through 1600 hrs. GMT for equipment covered under this contract excluding federal/British holidays.
The designated government point of contact (POC) shall be able to call and receive assistance.
Updates. The contractor shall provide all updates to include: installing manufacturer designed and issued field modifications, safety corrections, and revisions for correcting equipment deficiencies.
Normal hours of call out coverage are Monday through Friday, 0700-1600 hrs. Excluding federal/British holiday. All service/repairs shall be performed during normal hours of coverage unless requested or approved by the designated government POC. Response Time: The contractor must respond with a phone call to the designated government POC within one (1) business day after telephone notification. If the problem cannot be corrected by phone, the contractor will commence work on-site during normal hours of coverage. United States Federal holidays observed.
