48th Fighter Wing (USAFE)

MEMORANDUM FOR WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

FROM: 48 EMS/MXMMP

SUBJECT: Statement of Work for Prefabricated Portable Buildings (Dock Boxes)

1. The 48 Equipment Maintenance Squadron is purchasing three (3) offices the dimensions of the first office would be 6.10 meters by 3.05 meters and the remaining two offices would be 7.32 meters by 3.05 meters. Full HVAC, Soundproofing, with American and UK spec outlets and LAN ports must be positioned approximately every 1.5 meters all the way around the inside, and complete installation of building. The new dock box shall allow security of the area and enable oversight of the entire work area.

2. Requirements/specifications are as follows

SPECIFICATIONS:

(1x) Large Modular Building:

6.10m x 3.05m Beacon Large Modular Building Sound proofing (30 decibels of reduction)

HVAC

UK and US spec Outlets and LAN ports 48 inch glass or safety plastic equivalent windows encompassing building (2x) Large Modular Building:

7.32m x 3.05m Beacon Large Modular Building Sound proofing (30 decibels of reduction)

HVAC

UK and US spec Outlets and LAN ports 48 inch glass or safety plastic equivalent windows encompassing building

For All Buildings:

Windows must open to provide ventilation. Unit must be prewired for standard electric, both US/UK plugs required, minimum of 5 floor level or floor enclosed receptacles. The unit must be prewired form Data-Communication ports, minimum of 7 floor level or floor enclosed, near outlets. Must include all lighting, preinstalled. HVAC must include Air Conditioning/heat unit to provide 11,700 BTU cool/10,700 BTU heat for a building this size. Circuit panel must have a minimum of 8 breakers. Unit must have at least 30 decibels of noise reduction. Must have two doors for a walkway the entire length of the unit. The glass or safety plastic equivalent encompassing the buildings should be adequate for an industrial environment (ex. Tempured glass).

Training:

The contractor shall provide adequate training on the equipment and in conjunction with any required modifications made by the contractor IAW manufacturer’s recommendation or to support industry standards. Adequate training consists of the following:

• How to operate the doors and windows

• Show where the circuit breaker panel is located

• How to change LED lighting

WARRANTY

Must have 36 months full warranty on any defects related to the manufacture or installation of the buildings.

3. Contractor requirements

Point of contact (POC). The contractor shall designate in writing a single point of contact to the contracting office for any maintenance service required for this purchase. This information shall include name, title, address, and telephone number.

Telephone assistance. The contractor shall provide telephone assistance during business hours 0800 hrs through 1600 hrs. GMT for equipment covered under this contract excluding federal/British holidays.

The designated government point of contact (POC) shall be able to call and receive assistance.

Updates. The contractor shall provide all updates to include: installing manufacturer designed and issued field modifications, safety corrections, and revisions for correcting equipment deficiencies.

Normal hours of call out coverage are Monday through Friday, 0700-1600 hrs. Excluding federal/British holiday. All service/repairs shall be performed during normal hours of coverage unless requested or approved by the designated government POC. Response Time: The contractor must respond with a phone call to the designated government POC within one (1) business day after telephone notification. If the problem cannot be corrected by phone, the contractor will commence work on-site during normal hours of coverage. United States Federal holidays observed.
