DORM FURNITURE QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS #4

Q: What type of inner springs are required for the mattress?

A: If the question is specific to coil type then “no preference.” Otherwise, this question is too vague.

Q: What are the dimensions for the Captain’s Bed and Chairs?

A: Bed must accommodate a twin size mattress with dimensions of approximately 81" x 40"x

8". Chair dimensions are approximately 19" x 24"x 33".

Q: If we are not GSA certified, can we bid on this project as a small business set-aside?

A: This solicitation is a Full and Open competition on FBO, therefore, anyone can provide a quote.

Q: Are there any restrictions on where the furniture is manufactured?

A: This question was anwered on the previous Q&A. Please read the attached document titled

“Q&A #3”

Q: What part of the bed should be reversible?

A: The mattress should be reversible, as in being flipped from top to bottom.
