Solicitation: FA5270-15-T-0052, Bed Frames and Headboards
Subject: Question and Answer
A. Government response is provided for following question received on 08 May 2015:
Question: " The item descriptions for the headboards in the above solicitation specifies that the wood species is to be solid oak with a saddle oak/medium oak finish (no plywood). Would solid birch in a saddle oak/medium oak finish (no plywood) also be acceptable?"
Government Response: Yes birch in a saddle oak/medium oak finish will be acceptable. Birch wood is actually more firm than oak. In any case, birch wood will meet our needs just so long as the frames are solid and made with no plywood.
B. Closing date 01 June 2015, 11:00 AM, Japan Standard Time, remains the SAME.
