In relation to the ST4a and ST4B is an electric lock required? Or should this be a lateral file with a lock plug and key?
Items ST4a and ST4b may utilize a lock plug and key rather than an electric lock.
Would you be able to send us an autocad dwg file?
The design-build project is still in construction so I haven't been able to get a copy of the CAD file for the room layout or interior design but I will continue to work on it. In the meantime adequate room dimensions and measurements were provided in the interior design as part of the FF&E solicitation.
For the WS-1, WS-2, WS-3, WS-4, WS-7 and WS-9 furniture typical in the "acceptable product" portion of the description it asks for "height adjustable" product. On the furniture typical drawing and the Isometric drawing it is not clear which work surfaces are to be height adjustable.
Does height adjustable mean it needs to be adjustable by a cantilever? Or are there specific work surfaces that are to have electrical height adjustable capability?
For WS-1, WS-2, WS-3, WS-4, WS-7, and WS-9, height adjustable chairs and modular/adjustable drawers is adequate. Standing/height adjustable work stations (veridesk or similar product) will be purchased by the government on a case by case basis but work stations should be purchased and installed in a way that would allow the addition of a veridesk or similar product at a later date if needed.
File details come from the government source that posted it.
